YAY!  Just FYI I know we said that we would get you a budget, but it really depends on who comes when and how long they stay, also depends on what we get at costco tomorrow and the total of the order-in dinner.  So please be prepared to pay Jenn around $225-$250 for everything and we will get an exact total to everyone tomorrow!

I'm Claudia...former co-worker and roomie of Alana. I moved in with Alana when she lived in Venice, right before she and Jenny found the Sierra house and somehow convinced me to move for the 2nd time in 4 months :) We worked at LMU together and she followed me into the counseling program.

 

When I finished school, I became a college counselor at a small charter high school in downtown LA. I still live in El Segundo and my younger sister is moving in to my apartment while I will be hanging out with all of you in the desert. I think I have been dating my boyfriend Pat longer than I have known Alana...which is why most of you know who he is. I love to travel, read, watch Grey's Anatomy, dance, eat ice cream, and fall asleep on the beach. See you soon!

-black outfit (it is a nicer night club, but it is also palm springs, so something in between casual and fancy)

-"workout"/casual clothes for pole dancing (maybe even like fun sweatbands, stripped socks, etc...they are providing boas!)

-games (only if you have anything in mind, if not no worries)

-alcohol/beer/snacks (we will be buying some stuff to stock the rooms with, but anything else you might want to contribute...)

-spending $$ (mindy will get out exact prices for room/events etc, but think cocktails by the pool, snacks, drinks, gambling money for casino, etc)

-checkbook/$$ to pay Jenn for weekend costs (will get total cost to you asap!)

How I know Alana: Alana and I lived next door to eachother Freshman year at LMU.  We rushed sorority together, and lived together Junior year (Alana was my Resident Advisor!). Now we both volunteer for Alpha Phi, and have stayed close friends since graduation.  Alana stood beside me as a bridesmaid in my wedding last summer, and she & Brian live near my parents in Orange County. 

About me: I grew up in Huntington Beach, and now my husband (Jeff) and I live in Playa Del Rey.  I work in Corporate Marketing/Advertising at Toyota, and my husband works for ESPN.  I like pasta, wine, Country music, Pinkberry, sunshine, and traveling to visit family and friends.

Panty Parade!

Hey everyone,
We decided to play a mini game and surprise Alana with a little token of love from each of us....
We would like everyone to bring a pair of panties (new a mini gift for Alana) less than $10 each (target is especially great for this and since were all spending a decent amount of money on this party this wont break the bank). Wrapping is not necessary since we will place all the panties in a basket and she will have to guess who brought each pair. Make sure the panties represent a little something about yourself that Alana might be able to pick out your pair immediately! Cant wait for 2 weeks.... If you have any questions let us know!

Hey Everyone,

When we go out on Sat. night we decided that we will all wear black and have Alana wear pink. Then we won't have to buy specific "bachlorette" shirts or anything like that. Just a heads up for you. =)

Hi...I'm Valarie. I currently live in San Gabriel and work as a middle school counselor. I went to undergrad and grad school with Alana at LMU. The funny thing is that Alana and I really didn't even like each other at first and now 7 years later I am in her wedding. I love to bake...especially chocolate chip cookies and brownies, shop, and hang out with friends. I am looking forward to a fun and relaxing weekend in Palm Springs where I can start to work on my tan!

Hi! I'm Kelly.  Sister to Kim...the one that looks like me.  I am so looking forward to this bachlorette weekend because I live in Denver and I can't wait to spend time with everyone.  I moved to downtown Denver over a year ago from Santa Barbara and I love it!!  I work for the Denver City Chamber of Commerce doing event planning.  I love theme parties, volleyball, running, the Broncos, the Rockies, and hanging at rooftop bars.  I'll be the first and the last on the dance floor.  Can't wait...can't wait...can't wait!!

I'm Mindy Finkelstein and have been friends with Alana since we were 10 years old! 
I grew up (like a few of the girls) in the valley (C-House Baby!) and am very proud of my LA roots. I went to UCSB (Go Gauchos!) and studied film and have been working in the TV industry until about a month ago when I did what any smart person does in a recession...I QUIT! I decided I just wasnt happy and didn't know if it was the job or the fact that I have lived in LA my life so I moved out of my apartment and packed a bag and have been in San Francisco for a month... Still dont know if im staying here but I think I might take a little detour in Denver as well. Im an avid traveler and love nothing more than spending a month every year in another country. Im also really active politically and with non profits. Cant wait to meet everyone and celebrate Alanas last few months as a single girl!!

Hi Ladies! I'm Jenn. I'm pretty sure I've met all of you before, but if there is anyone I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet, it's nice to (kind of) meet you!

A little bit about me: I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, just a of couple miles away from Alana. I'm now a lawyer, working in Santa Monica and living in West Hollywood (Los Angeles may not have much culture but any culture we do have can be found within a three mile radius of my house)! I love hiking, biking, reading, theater, cooking, camping, movies, trying new things and doing most anything that can be qualified as "totally random." I like to think that'd I'd try almost anything at least once (I said ALMOST anything, so don't get any ideas)!

I truly cannot wait to spend some more time getting to know each of you at Alana's bachelorette party. From what I know of each of you already I can't imagine a group I'd rather spend a long day weekend with!

CARPOOL?

When is everyone thinking about coming? We all voted that we would drive seperatly (as in not rent vans or a bus) but we should car pool! Are you planning on coming Friday morning? Friday after work? Saturday? And where are you coming from? Orange County? The Valley? Let's set up some carpools. Better for the environment and more fun! =)

We will be going to the club at the Marriott Hotel on Saturday night and getting in for 1/2 price (a deal with the pole dancing class) so bring your dancing shoes!

I am KIM, (on the right) not to be confused with my twin sister Kelly(on the left)! I live in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA with my wonderful boyfriend Travis (who is also a twin b.t.w.!). I am in a graduate program at UCLA for interior design. I have worked at California Pizza Kitchen here in SB for over 8 years!!
